Sahakar-AI – Driving Transparency Through Intelligent Citizen Engagement
Implementing the AI Chatbot for the Cooperative Commissioner & Registrar, Cooperative Societies was a high-impact initiative undertaken as part of the Maharashtra State Government’s digitization drive.
The project posed a unique challenge—delivering a reliable, regulation-driven AI solution within a stringent timeline of 90 days—testing both our technical expertise and execution commitment.
The mandate focused on empowering citizens by enhancing transparency and simplifying access to statutory information related to cooperative societies.
This objective was successfully achieved by integrating the OpenAI API and building a structured, dedicated knowledge repository comprising Government Resolutions (GRs), Circulars, and the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960.
The AI-powered chatbot enables citizens to ask questions related to the Cooperative Society Act, bylaws, and regulatory procedures, and receive precise, context-aware responses.
Each answer is generated with direct reference to the latest applicable government regulations, along with links to official source documents—ensuring accuracy, authenticity, and trust.
